Privacy and Security Statement

DEFINITIONS

“the Company” means Invotech Limited, “the Site” means www.signmeuplive.com, www.signmeuphub.com, www.signmeup.ie, www.invotech.ie, and Bookings, Support and related services (individually and collectively, the “Services”)

1. Acknowledgement and acceptance of terms

The Company is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Statement sets forth our current privacy practices with regard to the information the Company collects when you or your computer interacts with the Site. By accessing the Site, you acknowledge and fully understand the Company’s Privacy Statement and freely consent to the information collection and use practices described in this Privacy Statement.

2. Participating Merchant Policies

Related services and offerings with links from this website, including third party sites, have their own privacy statements that can be viewed by clicking on the corresponding links within each respective website. Online merchants and others who participate in the Company’s services are encouraged to participate in industry privacy initiatives and to take a responsible attitude towards consumer privacy. However, since we do not have direct control over the policies or practices of participating merchants and other third parties, we are not responsible for the privacy practices or contents of those sites. We recommend and encourage that you always review the privacy policies of merchants and other third parties before you provide any personal information or complete any transaction with such parties.

3. Information We Collect and How We Use It

The Company collects certain information from and about its users three ways: directly from our Web Server logs, the user, and with Cookies.

a. Web Server Logs

Your Internet protocol address. The kind of browser or computer you use. Number of links you click within the Site. The location from which you accessed the Site. Date and time of your visit. Name of your Internet service provider. Web page you linked to the Site from. Pages you viewed on the Site.

b. Use of Cookies

The Company may use cookies to personalize or enhance your user experience. A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a Web Server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. For example, if you personalize a web page, or navigate within a site, a cookie helps the site to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. Hence, this simplifies the process of delivering relevant content and eases site navigation by providing and saving your preferences and login information as well as providing personalized functionality. The Company reserves the right to share aggregated site statistics with partner companies, but does not allow other companies to place cookies on our website unless there is a temporary, overriding customer value (such as merging into the Site another site that relies on third-party cookies). You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies. If you reject cookies by changing your browser settings then be aware that this may disable some of the functionality on the Site.

c. Personal Information Users

Visitors to the Site can register to purchase services. When you register, we will request some personal information such as name, address, email, telephone number or facsimile number, account number and/or other relevant information. If you are purchasing a service, we will request financial information. Any financial information we collect is used only to bill you for the services you purchased. If you purchase by credit card, this information may be forwarded to your credit card provider. For other types of registrations, we will ask for the relevant information. You may also be asked to disclose personal information to us so that we can provide assistance and information to you. For example, such data may be warranted in order to provide online technical support and troubleshooting. We will not disclose personally identifiable information we collect from you to third parties without your permission except to the extent necessary including: To fulfil your service requests for services. To protect ourselves from liability, To respond to legal process or comply with law, or In connection with a merger, acquisition, or liquidation of the Company.

4. Use of Web Beacons or GIF files

The Site may contain electronic images known as Web beacons – sometimes also called single-pixel gifs – that allow the Company to count users who have visited those pages and to deliver co-branded services. The Company may include Web beacons in promotional e-mail messages or newsletters in order to determine whether messages have been opened and acted upon. Some of these Web beacons may be placed by third party service providers to help determine the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns or email communications. These Web beacons may be used by these service providers to place a persistent cookie on your computer. This allows the service provider to recognize your computer each time you visit certain pages or emails and compile anonymous information in relation to those page views, which in turn enables us and our service providers to learn which advertisements and emails bring you to our website and how you use the site. The Company prohibits Web beacons from being used to collect or access your personal information.

5. Accessing Web Account Information

We will provide you with the means to ensure that personally identifiable information in your web account file is correct and current. You may review this information by contacting us by sending an email to our support attendant support@invotech.ie

6. Where we store your personal data​

Your personal data that we collect from you may be transferred to, stored and processed at, any country where we do business, which may include a destination outside the European Economic Area (“​EEA​”). It may also be processed by personnel operating outside the EEA that work for us or for one of our suppliers, service providers or sub-contractors. The laws of jurisdictions outside the EEA may not have the same level of protection for personal data as apply in Ireland. In such circumstances we will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Statement. Where you have chosen (or where we have given you) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our Site, you are responsible for keeping the password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. Please be aware that the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our Site which you transmit at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will apply procedures and use security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

7. Retention of your personal data​

We will retain your personal data for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required or permitted for legal and regulatory purposes and legitimate business purposes. In general, we hold this information for a period of five years, unless we are obliged to hold it for a longer period under law or applicable regulations. If you decide to delete your account we will promptly remove your personal data from our system (such as your name, e-mail address, member code, swipe id and phone number) and other preferences associated with your account. However, we may retain copies of your personal data as explained above.

8. Your rights​

If you are an agent or an employee of the Subscriber (ie, leisure staff or employees) and we act as the data controller of your personal data, you can contact us about questions, complaints or requests regarding our processing of your personal data at support@invotech.ie You have the right to request a copy of your personal data currently held by your data controller. Where we act as your data controller, we will provide you with a copy of your personal data as soon as practicable (subject to applicable data protection laws). We may also request proof of identification to verify your access request. You may also have the right to rectify, block or erase your personal data in certain circumstances. You can sign into your account to see, change and / or delete any personal data that we hold, such as your name, postal address, e-mail address and phone number. We will not be required to erase your personal data from our records where to do so would prevent us from meeting our contractual obligations, or where we are required to process (including retaining) your personal data in order to comply with a legal obligation, or if the personal data is necessary to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights or for the purpose of legal proceedings. Subject to applicable data protection laws, you may have the right to receive your personal data, which you have provided to a data controller, in a machine-readable format and / or where technically possible, to have that personal data sent to another data controller. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commissioner about the processing of your personal data at info@dataprotection.ie​.

9. Changes to this Statement​

The Company has the discretion to occasionally update this Privacy Statement. When we do, we will also revise the “updated” date at the bottom of this Privacy page. We encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Statement to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. Your continued use of the service constitutes your agreement to this privacy statement and any updates.

11. Security Statement

Sign-me-up sites uses some of the most advanced technology for Internet security available today. When you access our site via a web browser, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology protects your information using both server authentication and data encryption, ensuring that your data is safe, secure, and available only to registered Users in your organisation. Your data will be completely inaccessible to your competitors. Sign-Me-Up sites provides each of the users both staff and customers in your organization with a unique user name and password that must be entered each time a user logs on. In addition, your data is hosted in a secure server environment by one of the worlds leading providers that uses a firewall and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders.

12. Third Party Products and Services

Third Party Providers: Invotech/SignMeUp may offer certain third party products and services. Such products and services may be subject to the terms and conditions of the third party provider. You should confirm the terms of any purchase and the use of goods or services with the third party provider with whom you are dealing. Invotech/SignMeUp does not make any representations or warranties regarding, and is not liable for, the quality or availability of goods or services provided by a third party. Invotech/SignMeUp is not an agent, representative, trustee or fiduciary of you or the third party in any transaction.
Third Party Websites: The Site or the Services may contain links to other websites that are not owned or controlled by Invotech/SignMeUp (“Third Party Sites”), as well as articles, photographs, text, graphics, pictures, designs, sounds, video, information, and other content or items belonging to or originating from third parties (“Third Party Content”). Invotech/SignMeUp is not responsible for Third Party Sites or Third Party Content. Third Party Sites and Content are not investigated, monitored, checked for accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness.
